There were many lessons learnt in 2020, but probably the most crucial was the importance of creating a safe and comforting home environment. This understanding continues to inform furniture and fabric trends for 2021, allowing us to create multi-layered and multifunctional interior spaces.

Colour and shape

According to Audi Snÿman of Audi Snÿman Interior Design. “Although pinks and greens are becoming more popular, I believe blue is set to stay. Blue evokes the freedom of the sky and the ocean, while symbolising calm and serenity. Blue is beautiful when used across various textiles, it pairs easily with wood, and leaps off the canvas in art. When combined with a neutral palette and natural earthy patterns, the effect is stylish and sophisticated, yet grounded.”
